Recently A-Lab Software Limited completed work on a 3D
application for designing Scalextric layouts on a computer in real-time
3D for Hornby Hobbies Ltd. |
This was an extremely
exciting project to work on with such a renown company as Hornby
Hobbies Ltd, the software was recently made available for FREE download
from Scalextric's website.
The release was tied into Hornby Hobbies Ltd annual visit to the London
Toy Fair 2008, which A-Lab Software Limited were lucky enough to attend
as VIP guests.
Also at the show as guests of Hornby Hobbies Ltd was the mysterious Stig to promote the new Top Gear range, and also joining him was the legend that is John Surtees, the only man to win World Championships on both two and four wheels!
A-Lab Software Limited are continuing to support the software, and we
are providing incremental updates periodically throughout 2008 adding
new features most of which are requested by the Scalextric user
community.
